Here we go.....

First time trying this out, not exactly sure on how its going to work or look. Trying it to see if its a better way of staying in touch with my family in Portugal. And possibly help others with many life and computer issues.

I photograph as a hobby. My first ever dSLR is a D50. I purchased the 2 lenses outfit, 18-55mm and 55-200mm. I purchased the camera in January '06, the image counter at the moment is at 19377 pictures. By no means are they all perfect. I have since my original purchase bought more accessories, such as a 50mm f1.8 lens, SB-800 flash, shutter remote, tripod, Nikon dSLR Bag, SD memory cards (5 total, 2 - 1Gb, 2 - 2Gb, 1 - 256Mb), memory card holder, that's about it. I try to take my camera with me everywhere i go. I do feel the need to get better lenses, faster and with more zoom. Don't get me wrong, the lenses i have are perfect for a beginner, and light amature, however there are times that i am left wishing for better.

I am also an Audi fanatic, the first car i ever purchased was an 1987 Audi 4000 CS, and i loved it. i was many times able to get 33+mpg out of that thing, it was a 1.8L FWD 5spd. Before that car i used to drive a Mitsubishi pick-up ( i learned how to drive stick with it), then a 1986 Escort L, then 1987 Ford Econoline E-150 4spd (that was a fun truck). After my 1st 4000 i had a 1985 Peugeot 505 TDI, then a 1986 Audi 4000 Quattro CS (my first Quattro and the damage has already been done), then a 1990 Ford Thunderbird LX, then a 1987 Audi 5000 Turbo Quattro CS (my 1st turbo, bad, bad, bad, very addictive), then my current jewel of the Nile a 1993 Audi S4, 5cyl, 20valve, turbo, sexy beauty beast, and lastly my last purchase was a 1987 Audi 90 Quattro to become a Project.

I have driven many miles and will continue to do so, see you soon around the highway.
